Hungry Tomato is located in a converted old bakery, sitting at the head of the river Fal, in the ancient and cobbled city of Truro. Just a short row down the river, it joins the Falmouth estuary - the third largest natural harbour in the world,

This small corner of the county of Cornwall, once famous for the export of tin and china, is now a centre for design and the arts. With Falmouth College and University, who specialise in design, just a stones throw away.

We work with some of the finest award-winning illustrators, authors and consultants from around the world to make our titles appeal to all children, including reluctant readers. The text, written to the highest standards, is accessible and entertaining, while the brilliant art and design will hold young readers' attention page by page.

In this beautiful converted old warehouse, we hold our publishing meetings under the watchful eye of our Jack Russell 'Scout' - who has the difficult-but-important task of making sure we stick to the point and don't dally too long.

We are a young company on a mission to create books that are amusing and exciting, engaging those fact-hungry young minds. Packed with visual appeal, they make reading fun and enjoyable - and stimulate children's natural curiosity. We engage young readers with topics that they love: history, science, geography, the natural world and number, word and visual puzzles.

All Hungry Tomato series offer soft learning at its best and we ensure that facts are carefully checked by expert authors and consultants.
